In this video, I will travel to train stations in Japan to try some of the most delicious foods they have to offer. Transporting over 6 billion passengers every year, Japan’s national rail network is currently the busiest in the world. They are known for being punctual, efficient, and also extremely—sometimes unbelievably—crowded.

However, what is often overlooked is the fact that almost every train station in Japan offers some kind of dining option. Some are as simple as vending machines, while others have full-on restaurants that serve surprisingly delicious food.

So in this video, I am going to stay in train stations in Sapporo for an entire day to fully explore the dining options they offer.
