Amtrak Acela Express Fast Trains 2025
Since December of 2000, the Acela Express has provided fast passenger train service to the major cities in the Northeastern US. Now, 25 years later, the original train sets are poised to be replaced with new equipment that will carry the service for another couple decades. In this video, we will take another look at the original Acela Express trains in what will likely be their final months of service. These scenes were captured at multiple different locations in New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Many of the locations featured allow for some of the highest speeds on the Northeast Corridor and you will see several different trains at or near their top 150 MPH speed limit.
