The beaches in Cancun can get large amounts of seaweed - called sargassum - during specific times of the year. I was surprise when I first experienced this during a recent vacation to Mexico. The beach is one of the most important things to me when I go on vacation but it never occurred to me to research what the beach conditions would be like when we went! The best time to visit Cancun to experience the best beach conditions is January-March. This footage is from a recent trip to Playa Mujeres in November 2022. It wasn't as bad as the beaches in Riviera Maya during the summer, but not as clear and blue as we have seen it in the past. #mexico #beaches #travelvlog
