Calm Sunrise Breathing Animation - HRV (Resonant, Coherent) Breathing
Animated breathing pacer. This breathwork is known as resonant breathing, coherent breathing, resonance frequency breathing, cardiac coherence breathing, or HRV breathing.
How to use this video: Sitting upright and still, synchronize your breathing with the animation. There is no need to breathe very deeply, about 50% of maximum depth is a good amount. Adjust the speed to your preference using the gear wheel in the bottom right corner of the video player (desktop) or the three little dots in the upper right corner (mobile).
Everyone has their own individual resonant frequency that will produce the best results. If you are a tall person, it is likely that your breath cycles need to be a bit longer than 5.5s. If you are short, your breath cycles may need to be shorter.
My recommendation is to perform this slow calm breathing for at least 10 minutes twice every day for a week and see how you feel at the end of the week.
