The Nocturnes are in order from their publishing dates, with the exception of a couple posthumous Opus numbers. In Chopin's day there was no tuning standardization in place yet and different piano builders would tune their pianos on different pitches. However, Chopin's last piano was a Pleyel tuned to 435Hz, putting 432Hz pretty close to what the Nocturnes may have sounded like in his day.
