jungle atmospherics - late 90s ambient / atmospheric jungle / drum and bass mix

Recorded and designed a big mix of some of my favourite lush, deep and atmospheric jungle / drum and bass tracks from the late 90s, progressing from jazzy and dreamy to hard and fast 💿 Evolving from its rougher and more rave-focused predecessor (https://youtu.be/TuSpRSgFKJA?si=Hytl8Xcz_1t22Luo), the atmospheric sound is a truly magical and forward-thinking genre that still sounds like the future, even 25-30 years later

I’ve always been interested in early 3D from the same era and how tied it is to electronic music, so I learnt how to use some old software and made some renders to go along with the mix. I designed a CD for the mix inspired by CD and record designs from the original tracks, and featuring the renders I made to accompany the mix inside (you can watch how I made everything here - https://youtu.be/Yt7d-erT4CE?si=pbrKN7ctHdb5TAuH ).
