Michael Jackson Billie Jean Piano in Oracle Shopping Centre Pulls In 2 Viewers Cole Lam 12 Years Old
This is the first time I have played this one in public. Michael Jackson Billie Jean is a true classic and it is amazing to play to play on the piano.
I love how at the beginning you just set that left hand going - BUM bum bum bum, bum bum bum bum - and let it just keep running whilst the right hand has all the fun. And then the left hand creeps in a little to have a play too! It's still fresh off the works - so there's still a bit to work on in the middle, but it's sounding good so far.
Played on the Yamaha Clavinova at the Oracle Shopping Centre in Reading. The digital piano is set a little too quiet, and the way the piano and lid is set means the sound goes over the escalators. This means that those walking by actually can't really hear it at all.
BUT!!!! Check out the couple with the backpack that are coming up the escalators at 1:00 - they hear me and look over. A few seconds later, you see them come over and watch me! So I did manage to get some people to stop and watch! ๐
