Rocky - piano medley: This piano medley of Rocky contains one of the most well known Rocky piano pieces that are played throughout the Rocky movies from Rocky 1 till Rocky 3. Pieces as First Date, Vigil, Mickey and All of My Life with the Gonna Fly Theme (in adagio). All themes composed by the great Bill Conti.
This piano medley was arranged for the amazing event "An Experience With". During this event epic hollywood stars are interviewed an the whole evening is dedicated to the super star. In this case it was Sylvester Stallone! Next to this event there is an auction were you can get very rare stuff signed by the legend himself. And just before the show starts there is a spectacular tribute with firework and music. I was lucky enough to open the show with the emotional themes that characterize the tough life of Rocky. Bill Conti did such a marvelous job writing these sad loneliness themes. In my opinion one of the best themes in film music history.
Also I was lucky enough to shake the hand of Sly and get on a picture with him. Next to that I was lucky enough to meet another legend on the event Raymond van Barneveld. So the evening in Birmingham was a dream coming true!
