Solo Survival and Backcountry Camping with my Dog | No FOOD or SHELTER
Back at it with another solo survival wilderness adventure! This time, Cedar and I get dropped off in the backcountry with no food, no shelter, and very minimal gear. Despite the challenges, there's plenty of scenic relaxation! I do have my osage selfbow and a fly rod to hunt and fish for my food. This bare bones survival challenge didn't go quite as planned but after some scrambling along sketchy slopes, I got out of the deep snow and made some improvised survival shelters to keep the rain and snow at bay. When confronted with an unexpected turn in the outdoors it's important to stay calm. One bushcraft shelter looked a lot like a bear den and the bough bed was as soft as a cloud... well, almost! And with the spring bear hunting season still underway, I even so a little spot and stalk bear hunting. This video showcases backcountry camping at it's finest.
