The two pilots stepped out of the cockpit with a relaxed mindset, preparing to celebrate the “successful” mission.
On the apron below, the MiG-29 was still radiating intense heat, its engines not yet cooled after the long sortie. And perhaps… they would never cool down again.
Because a brutal retaliation had already been set in motion.
