The blizzard had not been a surprise this far into winter, and you’d managed to avoid most of the fresh snowfall. Still, you’ll have to venture back out into the howling wind to secure more firewood.
Pausing beside the campfire, you take in the earthy aroma of the herbs, potatoes, and vegetables boiling away in your stew. It’s a comfortable sensation. Breathing in the aroma in the center of your cozy cave, you steel yourself to venture out into the snowstorm once again. No matter. Soon you will be back with firewood, safe and warm, relaxing in your tent.
