WW1 Distant Battle Ambience | War Sounds

It’s 1917 on the western front during WW1. You’ve just heard the order from the commanding officer to go over the top of the trenches and into no man’s land hoping to capture one of the enemy positions. The trench whistle blows, you climb over, with your lee Enfield rifle firmly gripped, hands trembling and you make a run across the field as a barrage of machine gun fire starts followed by more artillery from multiple directions. Almost all the troops are gunned down leaving you and one other soldier ducking and diving under heavy fire. You are desperate and frantically looking for a way out. Luckily you and your partner escape the gunfire and now have to navigate through the treacherous fields to safety. Explosions near and far and distant artillery are constant. It’s wet and muddy with bouts of heavy rainfall and the night has just began. Will you survive.. good luck
