Associated with the sub-conscious to unconscious parts of the mind, delta brainwaves are said to be the opening to non-physical states of reality. Because delta brainwaves appear during a state of very deep relaxation or unconsciousness, it is the slowest brainwave frequency among all four brainwave states. Measuring just 0-4 Hz, these waves have the highest amplitude.
Because Delta brainwaves appear while you sleep, they offer a number of benefits, particularly for the healing and strengthening of the body.
