The project African Soul Dance & Art Experience was developed by Sharina G and brought to life through Soul Harmony Foundation. This project was created especially for the women of San Nicolas (particularly those over 60) many of whom are descendants of African enslaved people and carry deep ancestral memory and strength.

In Aruba, the history of slavery is often met with silence. This project created a space for healing and reconnection through African-rooted movement and mindful abstract art, helping participants connect with their identity, ancestry, and inner wholeness.

This showcase event consisted of an art exhibition (inside) and dance performances by participants of the project. It was a celebration of their courage, creativity, and transformation.

Through community, creativity, and culture, Soul Harmony Foundation helps women reconnect with themselves, their roots, and grow into new possibilities.
