Embracing Simple Living | Cozy Winter Days in the Countryside | Cooking & Crafting a Bird Feeder
When February frost paints the windows and the power comes and goes, I spend a gentle winter day caring for home, cooking warm food, tending flowers, and creating small things by hand.
A slow countryside rhythm of simple routines β wiping muddy paws, watering early tulips, marinating dinner by daylight, brewing coffee in a favorite botanical mug, and lighting lanterns when evening quietly arrives.
This cozy winter vlog is about finding steadiness in ordinary moments: warm meals, handmade crafts, soft candlelight, and the comfort of taking care of whatβs around us.

Chocolate Cake
Made and enjoyed right in the same pan.

β’ 1 egg
β’ 5 tbsp sugar + vanilla
β’ 100 ml milk
β’ 5 tbsp flour
β’ 2 tbsp cocoa
β’ Β½ tsp baking powder
For soaking: hot milk + condensed milk
Method
Whisk everything right in the pan: oil, egg, sugar, vanilla, a pinch of salt, and milk. Add flour, cocoa, and baking powder and mix until smooth.
Place on very low heat and cover with a lid. Wipe off any condensation that forms. Donβt flip. Cook for about 15 minutes, until done.
Pour the hot milk over the warm cake and let it soak. For the glaze, I melted chocolate in warm cream.
