Best Hike Day Ever 1434

We are up extra early this morning because we are going on a really fun hike with my family. Navey is her happy self, Niko is pumped cause we are going to go into a lava volcano tunnel and, Adley is excited because we have done this hike before and she loves the beaches along the way. So we jump in the car and head out.

While we wait for everyone to show up at the first stop, there is a big ol' rooster. Niko and Navey challenge themselves to try and touch it but this chicken has lava in its veins cause it pecks and tries to keep the kiddos away. They conquer their fears and still give it a little poke each. We head out, this is The Road to Hana, where you drive and hike to different hidden beaches and waterfalls and other really cool experiences till you reach your final destination of Hana! Our first stop is a waterfall that we all swim to and go under. There is a really cool cave behind it that Niko discovers and we also caught a little baby fish with our hands.

On the drive to the next stop, NIko Bear got a stick with leaves and is using as our pirate flag. Hawaii is so beautiful, i couldn't help but show you guys as we drive to another water fall. This one is a little smaller, but you can climb to the top and jump in. Do you think we should? After that is the Lava tube!! We get to walk in and explore a tunnle that was made by lava thousands of years ago. Adley is spooked and Navey stays by Jenny, but Niko takes the lead, going first the entire time. So Brave!!

We arrive at our first beach and its a good one, the Black Sand beach. We came here with Adley along time ago and made a sand castle Barbie house and now we get to make new memories here with Niko and Navey. The waves here are really big and Adley and my family go out and play in them, so cool seeing how grown she is and can spend quality time with my sisters.

Our last stop is to the infamous Red Sand beach, where the trail is really narrow. We conquer our fears and make it to the beach and its so worth it because its beautiful. Our whole family get in the water together and have the best day ever just swimming and creating memories. What an amazing adventure. Once we get back to our hotel, the kiddos are all asleep. So i get my trusty wagon and load them up one by one to go back to the room. Once all the kiddos are settled, i insist that Jenny and baby number 4 ride up to the room in the wagon. :)
