Best Ocean Day Ever 1433

Do you want to go see a whale? Then this is the video for you cause thats what we are doing today. We are already on the boat and Adley has found the perfect spot for us all to sit. The trip is early enough that we also get to eat breakfast on the boat, a nice little change to our normal morning routine, even on a family vacation. Niko and I explore the boat before we talk about what animals we hope to see today. Adley wants to see whale, Niko wants to see a shark, Navey hopes we see Otters, and I really would like to see some dolphins.

We are almost to our first stop, which is going to be snorkeling, when we have a surpise visitor, a mamma whale and her baby. They are really close to us and its so cool to see them. Adley thinks they look like sea monsters, even though shes not nervous about being close to them. The boat stops and we get our snorkel gear on and jump in the water. The ocean is so clear and we can see so many fish. This is a super fun experience cause i'm here with my mom and dad and sisters. We all have made memories for trips as a family and now we all have families and we are on a trip making memoirs with those families. Its just really special.

We see big black fish, and smaller blue and yellow fish. Adley spots some sea urchins and Jenny sees an octopus swimming below us. I've never seen an octopus in the wild, that was soo cool. Niko and Navey get a little tired using the snorkels, our guides have these float with windows into the water so they can still see down. It's like little submarines for the littler kiddos.

Back on the boat, its time to look for whales again and it doesn't take long before we are surrounded. At least 3 or 4 whales are really close, breaching the water, showing us their finds, blowing water and air from their blow hole, or slapping their tails on the surface. Its crazy to think that we were sharing this water with whales. These huge animals are so close and showing off so much, even the crew of the boat are amazed. We end our boat trip by doing some temporary tattoos that the crew gave us. Navey got a turtle, Adley a dolphin, and Niko a shark!!

Once we get back to the hotel, the kiddos are little fishes and want to go swim in the pool. We pretend play otter family, one of our favorite games. The kiddos pretend to be gathering food and then they want me to throw it to them as treats. We come up with the idea that they have to do tricks to earn their treats. The spin, they swim, they work together to earn these fake treats, but its such a fun game and we all love playing it.

Its almost dinner time, and we have a plan to meet up with my family and all the cousins on he beach. on the way to dinner, navey trips and falls and then almost immidatly after, niko trips. so we decide to make a game out of it. Everyone is tripping and falling and what ever we are carrying, our drinks or the pizza, is just flying through the air everytime we trip. So much fun and a great reminder that even a fall can become a great memory!!
