I tried Scotland's luxury sleeper train from Edinburgh to London.
The Caledonian Sleeper, is one of only two sleeper trains in the UK, and has been in operation in various forms since the late 19th century, making it a key part of Britainβs rail heritage. The other sleeper service is the Night Riviera, operated by Great Western Railway, running between London Paddington and Cornwall.
The Caledonian Sleeper has multiple routes between London and Scotland. The Highlander Route travels from London to Aberdeen, Inverness, and Fort William, while the Lowlander Route connects London with Edinburgh and Glasgow.
