Lego train level crossing automated by Arduino. Another lego train crash at the lego train level crossing! It turns out that the guy working there just wants to relax all day long. Only one solution: automating the thing!

This video shows a level crossing which is automated by Arduino. When the sensor detects a train, the barriers are closed and the lights start flickering. As long as the sensor detects the train, the barriers remain closed. Once the train has passed the sensor, a delay prevents the barriers to open too soon. As motors I have used the PF M-motors (also automated in this video).
