Peaceful Mind [relaxing piano music - mind, focus, chill, calming, anxiety, stress relief music]
Calm & relaxing piano music you can listen to in the background during your day, during a meditation, reflection, while studying, working, or focusing, letting your thoughts run free, as a soundtrack during your ME time, but also as peaceful music in the evening before going to sleep. Of course also simply to relax and enjoy.
Title: Peaceful Mind | Type: original fantasia piano music session
“Healing the world begins with healing yourself.” ― Anthon St. Maarten
There’s power in calmness, quietness, a well sorted, focused, peaceful mind. There’s beauty in peace, too. On many levels. I chose this title because it’s something I wish for myself. And I don’t want to be selfish. I wish it for you too. I believe in a fast paced, complex, information and items dense, fast-changing, super-connected, always-on world, it’s especially important to cultivate a sense for and methods to achieve a mind state of calm and peace. Interestingly, that's not one of the things I’ve learned in school. But I’m not resentful. I can still research and learn about this important skill, and try implementing it in my life.
You might be already there, or maybe it’s something you want to tackle too?
If yes, what are items that (maybe?) keep your mind rather cluttered, negatively stressed, or attached to ineffective behaviors, items, people, things? Is it worrying about your personal life, about another, about our world, or maybe there’s a specific app or behavior that steals your mind’s and body's energy without making your life actually better? Is there a “too much” coming from your work or your private life, or maybe both? Or is there even an emptiness in your life that’s possibly making the mind un-peaceful? Will be different for different people. I’m not looking for answers to all the above. Maybe you see one thing for yourself that might be worth tackling.
For me, I plan to get rid of some clutter in the coming weeks, get my living and working space a good degree more cleaned up, maybe also clean up business and project related things (though that’s a life task here). But I also want to be there for and with a few of my fellow beings.
Another thing:
Winter arrived in the northern hemisphere. It’s freezing here where I live. A time when nature slows down dramatically. To rest. To save energy for warmer and sunnier times. I’m nature too. Maybe I should slow down during the coming weeks too. Maybe work 50% only? To allow the body and mind to rest and repair? To play? What about you? Do you slow down in winter months? Do you have a work contract that allows you to do less hours in winter months? Or do you do it the other way round, is it even a time for you with boosted productivity, because less things might be possible to be done outdoors because of freezing temps?
This is probably the last tune I share with you this year..
I hope you enjoy the music. Thank you for being here with me this way ☺️

*I’m Michael and I enjoy creating music. I play, compose and record mostly calm and peaceful tunes and share these here on the relaxdaily YouTube channel since 2011.
Music can be much more than just pure entertainment. It can be a meaningful soundtrack that accompanies us through a moment, through a day, a phase, or through life.
Many use my recordings and piano music sessions as background music while reading, doing mind work, to achieve better focus, while studying, while being creative, while coding or designing a product, a service or the world of tomorrow. From your comments I know that my music also works as relaxing music (also stress relief, depression or anxiety dissolving music), spa or yoga music, or to set a calm tone at cafes, bars, lounges, in hotels and restaurants, mostly at a low volume.
This project is not as much about a genre as it is about a feeling. A way of life. With my tunes, I try to take a little heat and speed out of our generally quite busy lives. A soundtrack for you, when you feel the need for a calm and peaceful, light and positive tune, the relaxdaily way.

The science of sound therapy draws from multiple disciplines: psychology, neuroscience, and acoustic ecology. Research consistently shows that ambient sounds can modulate autonomic nervous system activity, shifting the body from stress response (sympathetic activation) toward relaxation response (parasympathetic activation). This occurs through multiple pathways: masking of disruptive environmental sounds, providing gentle cognitive engagement that prevents anxious rumination, and creating predictable soundscapes that signal safety to primitive brain regions. Regular exposure to relaxing audio can help establish positive feedback loops where the brain learns to associate certain sounds with calm states.
