The Oshadhi Suktam is rendered by Sri Govind Prakash Bhat Ghanapatigal and Sri Satyanarayana Bhat, with the audio production done by Sri K. Suresh.

About the Mantra:
These 20 Mantras are from Kaanda-4, Prasna-2, Anuvaaka-6 of Krishna Yajur Veda. There are 23 Mantras in Rigveda: Mandala-10 , Sukta-97. There are 25 Mantras in Sukla Yajurveda Kaanva Saakha: Adhyaaya-13, Mantras-76 to 100.

These Mantras were discovered by Sage Aatharvano Bhishak about Oshadhaya : (Medicines)

It is believed that, reciting or listening to these powerful Mantras; Praying and praising the Medicines, will have great effects in healing our ailments. In ancient days, this Sukta was recited by many, while taking the Medicines and its was considered as one of the Ratna (Gems) of Yajur Veda. This is such a rare and powerful Mantra to heal our ailment.

First 19 Mantras are: Praising and Praying the Herbs, for healing our ailments. The last mantra (20) is the Herbs after consulting with Soma Raja, gives the confirmation to heal us, through the learned Physician.

We have given the Mantra in Sanskrit along with its meaning in English. This Oshadhya Sukta is rendered in a very melodious form.
