Turmeric Milk (Golden Milk) | How To Make Turmeric milk | Turmeric latte
Golden milk (turmeric milk) also know as Anti-Inflammatory Turmeric Tea. Golden milk is a healthy, healing, and anti-inflammatory drink! Also it's super delicious. Turmeric mixed with warm milk and a range of condiments is a tried-and-tested homemade remedy for coughs and colds in Indian households. Curcumin, turmeric's most significant compound, has medicinal properties and is used to reduce JOINT PAIN, ARTRITIS, and INFLAMMATION, and has even been used to treat DEPRESSION. Add all the spices to the warm milk, not to the hot milk.
Turmeric milk can be enjoyed before bedtime for its potential calming properties or as a warming and comforting beverage during the day. It's important to note that turmeric has a strong flavor, so feel free to adjust the spices and sweetener to suit your taste preferences.

👉👉Ingredients:(Serve- 2cup)
Whole Milk - 2 cup (or plant-based like almond, soy, or coconut)
Turmeric powder - 1tea spoon(or use fresh turmeric, grated)
Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tsp
Honey - 1 -2 Tablespoon (adjust to taste)
Black pepper - pinch
Additional flavor like ginger, nutmeg or vanilla can be added
Oil/Ghee - use only if you are using "low fat or Non-diary" milk
(Why Oil/Ghee to the turmeric milk: -
Adding a small amount of fat to turmeric milk can enhance the absorption of curcumin, which is the active compound in turmeric. Curcumin is fat-soluble, which means it is better absorbed by the body when consumed with a source of dietary fat. Whole milk already contains some fat, so if you're using whole milk for your turmeric milk, you may not need to add additional fat. The fat in the whole milk should be sufficient to aid in the absorption of curcumin.
However, if you're using a low-fat or non-dairy milk, which may have minimal fat content, you might consider adding a small amount of fat to your turmeric milk. This can be in the form of a teaspoon of ghee (clarified butter), coconut oil, or a similar healthy fat. The fat will not only improve curcumin absorption but also add richness to the flavor of your turmeric milk.)
