Best Coati Day Ever 1381

Adley, Niko, and Navey are super excited this morning. They got ready all by themselves and got into their swim suits because today we are going to the waterpark!! We heard they have a splash pad like our back yard at the Best Stay Ever house along with tons of slides, so the kiddos can hardly wait to go. After everyone is ready, we go down to the little train that will take us to breakfast. While we wait, Adley finds a sick finger board skate board spot, so she and i ride it till our ride arrives. Once on the train, Niko and Navey are holding on to my hat, they don't want any of my stuff to fall off again.

Now that we've had a delicious breakfast, its time for the swimming fun to start! Very first thing we do is this massive tube slide that we can ride as a family. It's like a giant half pipe, you drop in, go up this super tall side and then swing back and out into a pool. Adley and I even came up with a new game when you reach the very top, you wave at each other and pretend like you are thinking about your day, then you drop back down lol it's way fun.

Navey really wants to go in the giant wave pool so we head on in. Navey swims around like a mermaid, Adley learns to ride the waves, and Niko is a little boss and just walks through them like they are nothing!! Next we find a giant slide castle that is so cool! its has tons of slides, a giant bucket that dumps water on you, and water canons like pirate island. The kiddos are having a blast, running up and going down slides, laughing and smiling. We find really wide slides so we can go down as a family like we do at the farm we go to near Halloween, except this time around its into a swimming pool.

We find a sign that says they have thrill slides and Adley is super excited for them, the sign also shows the have a huge lazy river. We heard it takes 45 minutes to float the entire thing and Niko couldn't be happier. We grab our tubes and float the river!! Spinning, floating, relaxing, and going under waterfalls, this lazy river is the best. Over on the thrill slides we grab mats to do the loops and do a speed test to see who goes the farthest. Now its up to the tallest tower, Adley is so brave. She wants to go on the biggest slide they have, one of those ones where you get in and the floor falls out beneath you. We get to the very top and learn that Adley doesn't weigh enough to do it safely. So Jenny does it for her. She gets in, and disappears down the slide....did she get stuck?!!

Walking back to our hotel, we see a few of these little animals looking around the pools for food. They are so cute so we head over to look at them a little closer. Turns out they are called Coati and they are cousins to racoons. But unlike racoons who mostly hang out alone or in very small groups, this cute little guys run around in big families. So when we are looking at them tons come out in of the trees to see us too!! Such a cool experience!
