Getting to THASOS is very simple and inexpensive, it is better to take a car at Thessaloniki airport and in 1.5 hours you will be in the village of the port of Keramoti, there are ferries to the island of THASOS every 30 minutes. The beauty of Greek cities and beaches through the eyes of a tourist who is permanently residing in Greece. On the beach you will find the crystal turquoise water of the Aegean Sea and marble chips instead of white sand, which never heats up in the sun. Car parking is free next to the beach and you can always find a spot. The road to the beach is difficult and very dusty. Near the beach there are active quarries for the extraction of white marble and therefore marble dust will always be with you until the very beach.
