hey gamers. deltarune huh. this is going on my main bc i cant do chapters on my second channel and its Pissing me off. im the original starwalker

i've tried to put all these clips in a nice coherent order for your viewing pleasure. and mine... here's my notes for each part of the video along with the chapters :]

even though there's a bunch of technology that's made tv obsolete, tenna focuses specifically on... email? the thing that doesn't really conflict with tv at all...? it seems to be a touchy subject for... personal reasons.

the mail room marks the third room implied to be intended for spamton in the tv world, after the s-rank and z-rank rooms.

tenna wishing he had never met spamton despite not being really any worse off for it (compared to spamton, who ended up losing everything due to trusting tenna) is just really sad. it's like the idea of "what you don't know can't hurt you" in that getting so close to being relevant again made him even more desperate. but i wonder if spamton could have ever even helped tenna...?

i feel like it's implied by tenna's reaction to you getting z-rank (something that is hard to do without trying to do badly) that after their deal fell though, spamton started (seemingly) intentionally ruining tenna's shows, which ended up with him being moved from the s-rank dressing room he shared with tenna to the z-rank one as punishment.

- we don't need crts

spamton blames everyone around him for what happened but has a particular focus on tenna. it seems that their deal is what caused the voice to stop helping him, though tenna couldn't have known that. interestingly spamton may also know about the prophecy, as he says tenna is about to die during his battle. this could just be him being threatening towards him, but it happens regardless of whether they had the pipis encounter or if you fight or spare, so it does make me wonder...

- i'm not like him

when tenna flicks though the different channels after you defeat him, you can see spamton in the bottom right. this is just a sprite sheet from the files so it could mean nothing but the rest of the stuff on the sheet relates back to tenna in some way so... who's to say. (EDIT: this got patched out lol)

they quote each other a LOT for people who supposedly hate each other. i couldn't fit it in nicely but in the weird route sneo fight spamton says "I GAVE YOU EVERYTHING! MY LIFE ADVICE!" which is pretty closely quoted by tenna when he's recounted what happened between them.

spamton has a valentines day card that appears to be intended for tenna, as it references tenna tearing down the set and kids. the card is also addressed to "the [ ] that [curs3d] my ,", which is referencing an everyteenagers post: "the puppet master that cursed my dick". do i even need to elaborate here

there's also just a lot of parallels between the two. them both appealing to a non-existent audience during their boss fights is a pretty clear one. tenna even calls this out by denying he's anything like spamton.

is it food? is it a pet? is it a sexual thing...? maybe all three! this has some item flavour text too supporting the idea of tenna using the pipis to make fancy meals but i couldn't be bothered to add that LOL

this is maybe a reach but it is an interesting coincidence. i didn't include it in the video because there was no relevant dialogue but this is also where tenna hides in the second sword route board. on the flashing rainbow tropic of love. okay man

- if he's your man, why is his leitmotif in MY battle theme?

"HEY EVERY !" being a leitmotif for the idea of tenna and spamton as a duo is really really fun. spamton uses it the first time you see him, but then switches to his own leitmotif once he notices kris. very notable is that the only one of spamton's songs that uses the motif is "A Real Boy!" which plays when he's at his happiest and talking about living for his friends. the rest of the songs that use it are all related to tenna or the two of them in the past like in "Dump" or "Catswing"
